This page sets out the Terms & Conditions and Personal Data Protection Notice for the Fisheries Single Window (FSW) operated by the Department of Fisheries, Myanmar (the “Department”).

By registering for an FSW account or using any FSW service — including E-Certification, Catch Certification, Aquatic Health, Laboratory Booking and integrations with MACCS, Trade Net 2.0 and DICA — you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

FSW accepts two member types:

• Individual / Sole Proprietorship — Myanmar citizens applying with their National Registration Card (NRC). Individual applicants do not require DICA verification; their identity is verified manually by the Department.

• Company / Corporate Entity — entities registered with the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA). The DICA registration number is required and is verified electronically.

Applicants must provide accurate, current and complete information. Submitting false information may result in suspension of the account and rejection of any related certificates.

We collect personal data that is necessary to deliver FSW services, including:

• Identity data — name, NRC number (individuals), DICA registration number and company name (companies).

• Contact data — email address, mobile number, office or residential address.

• Account credentials — username, password (stored as a salted hash) and login activity.

• Operational data — applications, declarations, certificates, lab results and supporting documents you upload.

Personal data is processed to:

• Verify your identity and eligibility to use FSW.

• Issue, suspend and revoke E-Certificates, Catch Certificates and related approvals.

• Exchange the minimum information required with national integrators (MACCS, Trade Net 2.0, DICA) and authorised partner agencies.

• Comply with the Myanmar Fisheries Law, related regulations and applicable WTO/SPS obligations.

• Improve service quality, prevent fraud and respond to your inquiries.

Data may be shared with: (a) other Government of Myanmar agencies authorised by law; (b) the Myanmar Automated Cargo Clearance System (MACCS); (c) Trade Net 2.0; (d) DICA for company verification; and (e) accredited laboratories handling your samples.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

FSW applies technical and organisational measures aligned with the Department's information security policy, including encryption in transit (TLS), role-based access control, audit logging and least-privilege administration.

Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subject to applicable Myanmar law, you may request to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; withdraw consent for non-mandatory processing; or lodge a complaint about how your data is handled.

Some data must be retained for the period required by fisheries, customs and food-safety laws even if you delete your account.

You agree to: (a) use FSW only for lawful purposes; (b) not attempt to bypass security or access another user's data; (c) not upload malicious code; (d) keep your contact details up to date; and (e) cooperate with reasonable verification requests from the Department.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Notification page and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of FSW after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
